CACHAPA (VENEZUELAN CORN CAKE)

The cachapa is a typical plate of Venezuela, resemblance to a thick panqueca(pancake). It is probably of indigenous origin

ingredients

* 12 very tender jojotos (corn)
* Showy or sugar to the pleasure
* ¼ cdta of salt
* 1/8 kg. soft white cheese
* Milk

The jojotos is threshed and they are milled very fine, then they mix with the cheese grated finely, the showy one and the salt, until obtaining a homogeneous mixture, of being very thick to add some milk.

In a budare or very hot pan anointed lightly with oil, it is placed some the mixture (making a fine cake) it is allowed to gild and then it is turned gilding for the other side. The cachapas eats up very hot and they are anointed with butter, they can accompany or to stuff with hand cheese, to stuff court in half a hand cheese places it in the cachapa and bend it. Enjoy this plate one morning dominguera or one night anyone that wants to evoke the fertile fullness of this earth and if it gets a good one "serum of milk" takes a bath it without fear that their cachapa will be made divinely unforgettable...
